Enable or disable auto brightness in iPhone and iPad

With the launch of the latest iOS and iPhones, Apple has changed the fundamentals of display brightness of the phone. In the latest version of iOS, users can no longer disable or enable the auto-brightness feature. This leaves users to just use the brightness slider either in settings or via the control centre of the phone. However, this is just temporary as the iPhone automatically adjust the brightness depending upon the amount of light. Here’s how to enable or disable the auto-brightness in iPhone/iPad.

Steps to follow:


Open ‘Settings’

To turn off this feature, head to the Settings on your iOS device. and make sure you are logged in using Google account


Open General settings


Go to ‘Accessibility’ settings

Look for the ‘Accessibility’ option under the Settings of iPhone and tap on it.


Now, open ‘Display Accommodations’

Under the Accessibility option, look for the option ‘Display Accommodations’. Tap on the option.


Look for Auto-brightness option

Under ‘Display Accommodations’, there are several displays related to display, Look for Auto-brightness toggle


Turn off the Auto Brightness

By default, the Auto Brightness feature is turned on and to turn it off, tap on the toggle.


Open Control centre to change the brightness level

Head back to the home screen and swipe up from the bottom or top right to access the Control centre. Adjust the brightness slider to change display intensity as per the need.
